MOTION ACTIVATED MICRO DVR

Only 5-1/2 X 2-1/2 X 1 inches (a little larger than a pack of king size cigarettes) the D-V56 is a COLOR single channel, miniature solid state digital video recorder (DVR) has no moving parts. This means there is no more day - to - day interventions or any need for maintenance. Connects via RCA video input jack to your CCD or CMOS camera.

Recording rates are user programmable from 10 fps to 1 frame every 5 minutes. Unit features full time/date stamping of each image. The D-V56 automatically records events on the Memory Card following an alarm. Up to 100,000 images (video stream) can be recorded on a postage stamp size 1Gb SD card. (1Gb card optional) The alarm can be activated by external triggers and/or by the internal Video Motion Detection (VMD).

All functions of the clock radio work normally and the hidden B&W low light - high resolution camera is totally invisible.

All you do is touch the “Arm” button on the convenient remote control. Radio will beep once to verify command and quality black & white video recording will begin the instant motion is detected and will continue until 15 seconds after motion ceases. When you are ready to review your video images, simply press the “disarm” command on the remote control and remove the “postage stamp size” MMC card from it’s hidden compartment on back of the radio.

To playback images, an included MMC card reader connects to the USB port of your computer or laptop. Install the card, click on the MMC Icon and a complete list of images, including time and date stamp will appear on your screen. “Click” on any image and the video stream will play from that point on. You can even speed up or slow down playback. You can save the card or download your images to CD, hard drive, Zip, or any other media of your choice. MMC card can be quickly erased and reused again and again.

User options can be easily changed via the MMC card reader and your computer. Images can be recorder as fast as 3 frames per second (fps) or as slow as 1 frame per minute. Record duration after detected motion is also user programmable. Included 16Mb MMC card will record 3,000 images. Optional 64Mb card will record 12,000 images. Larger cards (128Mb, 256Mb and 512Mb) will increase image capacity accordingly.
